Each month a Sila campaign is conducted on full moon days. Observing the eight and ten precepts, offerings to the Buddha, alms giving, Dhamma sermons, meditation programmes and Pirith chanting are some of the activities. Religious and cultural activities within the Buddhist Council and outside are the responsibilities of the Council.
