Chanting of all night Prith Ceremony at Wiliam Hall was conducted on 18th night by ACBC to coincide with 90th Anniversary Celebrations. Including President ACBC along with Exective commitee Members and Large gathering participated.

          Initially offering flowers to the Samdhi Buddha statue by the President and the other members of the Executive Committee along with the WFB participants paid their homage to the Triple Gem.

          Thereafter the National Flag, Buddhist Flag and The Congress Flag were hoisted by the Priminister of Sri Lanka Mr. Rathnasiri Wickramanayake, Speaker Mr. W.J.M. Lokubandara and the President of the ACBC Mr. Jagath Sumathipala respectively.

         The meeting started with Most Venerable Pundit Dauldena Gnanissara Maha Nayake Thero, Mahanayake of Sri Lanka Amarapura Chapter on the Chair.

Venerable Maha sanga, Honourable Primeminister, Hon. Speaker and Representatives from WFB and Large number of VIP's participating the gathering.

On this occation Special commemrative first day cover was issued by ACBC. Two commerative plaques was handed over to the Hon. Primeminister and the Hon. Speaker by the Presidnet of ACBC. President of WFB handed over the Declaration of WFB to hold its next sessions in Sri Lanka to the Primeminister. During the address of Secretary General of WFB declare that Annual Session of WFB in 2010 will fixed to hold in Sri Lanka.
